I’m not the “look at me” kinda gal, so I’ve been putting off the whole personal style outfit post thing. But what is a fashion blog with no personal style?!?!??! I sweat just thinking about it. Anyways, here goes….
First stop was Jessica and Jamal’s “Very Merry Xmas Party”, and we ended the night at Runyons (107 Washington Ave N), a hole-in-the-wall bar/restaurant known for their award-winning wings located in the Downtown Minneapolis Warehouse district. It’s the perfect, laid-back neighborhood spot for late night bar food and to catch up with good friends. I am still laughing at what my friend, KK, said that night. I have to clean it up a bit….it was something to the effect of how he is hypnotized and turned on the moment he smells and lays eyes on a basket of chicken wings…I am not doing it justice, but you get the point! Ladies- he’s single and I just revealed the key to his heart!

I am digging the sheer dot tights trend. They are a nice departure from black opaque tights and they go with more than you’d think. Wear with skirts, dresses, or shorts. Lastly, my thing is that not everything has to exactly match. It makes it interesting and that’s the beauty of it.

highwaisted mini skirt and printed top: urban outfitters
cropped jacket and ring: bcbg
bangles: house of harlow
leather wrap-around bracelet: christopher straub
polka dot tights: express
booties: steve madden
nail polish: OPI you don’t know jacques
If you’ve been in a fashion rut (we’ve all been there for one reason or another!), patterned tights are an easy, inexpensive place to start incorporating style into your wardrobe. Give it a shot. Pair them with pieces that you already own for instant style that doesn’t break the bank.
That’s a wrap!

Sexy mamacita!!
Umm, i was going to say something smart but you actually look nice in those pics..did cheryl pic this outfit out for you?
I love the nail polish! It looks like there’s a bit of a blush hue to it–very edgy, yet feminine!
The entire outfit rocks…give us a little smile, Lisa!
